I worked on the visuals and programme booklet for The Chorallective’s concert ‘Living on a Prayer’ in 2024. The repertoire reexamined the roles that prayer and meditation hold today, and explored themes like religion, spirituality, history, and environmentalism.
The visuals for each piece in the repertoire were made with art direction from Siew Woon. Elements in the images mirror the ostinato, themes and motifs explored in the pieces.
This spinning animation was made for ‘Mass For The Endangered’ by Sarah Kirkland Snider, taking inspiration from the official commissioned visuals for the pieces in the mass. We did not end up using it in favour of a more cohesive look to the final visuals, but it was thrilling to be able to figure out how to animate an existing illustration.
All illustrations were done on Procreate and animated on Procreate Dreams.
